How we keep Clash safe.
Safety isn't a document on a shelf. These policies explain how we approach physical safety, consent, child safety and respectful participation across our classes, workshops and creative work.
Safety Policy
Updated: 11 September 2026
Safety underpins how we teach, create and work. Stage combat and physical theatre involve movement, physical interaction and managed risk. Our Safety Policy explains how Clash approaches physical and emotional safety, risk management, equipment, instruction and shared responsibility.
Physical Contact & Consent
Updated: 11 September 2026
Safe does not automatically mean consented, and consented does not automatically mean safe. Both are required.
Our Physical Contact & Consent Protocol explains how we approach physical interaction in classes, workshops, rehearsals and productions. At Clash, consent is specific, informed, voluntary and ongoing.
Child Safe Environments
Updated: 11 September 2026
Clash is committed to creating environments where children and young people are safe, respected, listened to and able to participate with confidence.
Our Child Safe Environments Policy explains the standards we follow when working with children and young people, including supervision, communication, physical contact, media, reporting and professional boundaries.
